By widening the valve leaflets, the device improves exposure of the mitral subvalvular apparatus, facilitating surgeon access.
Elizabeth consists of a C-shaped ring made of shape-memory plastic, equipped with a flange and an anti-slip system to increase the stability of the natural annulus.
