  • Silicone tube of various sizes used to assist in the regulation of the correct positioning of tissues undergoing surgery and for the calibration of the residual gastric volume.
  • If connected to a suction system, it can also be used to remove air or liquids from the patient’s stomach.
  • The device can be equipped with a hemispherical silicone balloon at the distal end. Once inflated, this allows the surgeon to determine a known volume within the patient’s stomach and facilitate the movement of the operated tissues. To inflate the balloon, there is an inflation line accessible to the physician at the proximal end of the device.
  • All gastric calibration tubes are perforated at the distal end to allow aspiration of gastric contents and have a silicone tip to reduce traumatic impact during their introduction and the procedure itself.
  • All models of this device feature a longitudinal radiopaque line that allows for precise identification and positioning within the stomach under scopy.
